The United States Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America and was ratified in 1789.

Frederick Kenoyer was born about 1765 in York County, Pennsylvania. His parents were Leonard and Barbara Kenoyer.

He was in the York County, Pennsylvania militia in 1785. He was in 7th Company in the 7th Battalion under Captain John Wampler, his former guardian.

His wife was named Elizabeth.

Frederick and Elizabeth's children included:
George Kenoyer (1788),
Mary (Polly) Kenoyer Durst (1789, married Jacob Durst), and
Joseph Kenoyer (1790).

In 1790 he was in Codorus Township. The household included 3 males and two females.

He died before December, 1798.

Guardianship is when a court gives an adult custody of a child and/or the responsibility of managing the child's property. Before women could own property, guardians were appointed for their minor children if their husband died.
